Welcome to the Home of the

Orono Red Riots!

A message from Orono Red Riots Athletic Director:

Welcome to the Orono High School Athletic Page.  It gives me a great deal of pride to be the Athletic Director at a school with such a rich tradition of success academically and athletically.  Our student-athletes strive for the highest levels in the classroom as well as in the competitive venues.

Participating in a co-curricular activity at Orono High School is a privilege and to be taken seriously.  Your actions and how you conduct yourself on and off the playing surfaces say a great deal about the kind of person you are and will become.  I encourage you to embrace all the challenges that come with being a student-athlete.

Finally, I wish the very best to all of our student-athletes and their coaches as they work together to make this experience the very best that it can be.  Please feel free to contact me at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. With Riot Pride,

Michael Archer, Athletic Director/Orono High School
