Seniors - Make sure you check out the FAME (Financial Authority of Maine) website for some great information about paying for college. This is one of the links for comparing costs and fiancial award letters. There's also some wonderful information about scholarship scams and helpful resources for financial aid terms.

College/Military Visits

At Orono High School, we are fortunate to have many post-secondary institutions visit our school. This is a perfect opportunity for students to sit down with an admissions representatives and get first-hand information about specific colleges and universities. If you are interested in meeting with a college representative from one of the following schools, please see Student Services for a pass.

 


INFORMATION FOR SENIORS

All students applying to college will need to fill out the FAFSA form as soon as possible after January 1st. This is the form that school use to allocate federal financial aid.
A select list of schools will also require the CSS Profile to be completed. This is the form that schools use to determine allocation of their own money. Typically this is required from private, selective schools.
